Simple tranny question.

Default Simple tranny question.

Will too much tranny fluid choke the tranny down the same way too much oil will choke an engine down? I'm pretty sure it does, but not 100% sure.

I think overfilling aerates the fliud and causes the bands to slip or something.

Yeah too much causes foaming from what I recall and too little will result in low pressure.

I always heard that overfilling will bust the seals from to much pressure. The owner's manual also mentions foaming and fire hazard. Too little fluid and you'll burn up the bands and clutches.
