Default Silverado SS problem with Silenoid Sticking Open

Hey my buddy has a 2003 silverado SS... with 3000 stall, Trans-go, Cam. etc..

Ok he has had his Shift silenoid stick on and then it broke..... 100 dollars to have it fixed....

Ok tune was sent back and silenoid code was turned off...

Ok the other day it came on agian.... The trans goes into limp mode.. and wont come out of second...

What is the way to fix this.... Its driving him crazy...

The tuner does have 5% increase on line pressure.... Could that be causing the problem...

We CANNOT figure it out....

If he has a shift kit installed, he should not have the line pressure increased but I cant say for sure if thats the problem

Yeah it says in the Transgo instructions that line pressure is supposed to be stock so theres a good chance that could be the problem but I am no tranny expert by far!

Go to silveradoSS.com and ask Zippy he's pretty sharp when it comes to 4L65E transmissions in the SS.

There has been several cases over there with the problem. If Zippy doesnt know there are many others who will. But its prob the line pressure causing it

The problem went away with the new silenoid and pressure regulator but I was looking over my current tune and some of the supposed "professionals" have raised the shift pressures and lowered the voltage modifiers which needs to go back to stock voltages I told both of them I had a shift kit. I really wish I hadnt waisted money on 2 tunes and just bought HP tuners for half the price.
Hinde site's a bitch
