Default Silverado 5.3

Ok i guess im going to stay with the 5.3 hoping to find a bare block to start rebuilding it. I want to use this intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-P...item414b5466bf. Does anyone know if this will work with the 5.3 and the pullys? Does any one have a nice cam and pinstion spec? The truck is only used on the weekends so hp.. is really in mind.

If hp is the primary goal you need to ditch the 5.3 and pick up a 6.0. It will cost you more to build up a 5.3 than to pick up a good 6.0 from a salvage, and you will still be behind the crowd.

Why would you want to use that intake?
