Default silverado 4.8 camshaft suggestions

I curently own a 05 silverado 4.8 single cab on 35s,456 gears,full posi..black widow exhaust.
Im curently installing a zex nitrous setup & procomp 96mm intake manifold.this truck mostly sees dirt but i woulds wanna have a beefy street truck aswell.
Any suggestions what cam should i be running..i was thinking on buying a tsp 212/218 since they curently have a big sale going on

Eh, the ole reliable 4.8.

The cam you are looking at would work well and provide a nice bump. It'll be noticeable.

If it were me, I'd just swap out to a 6.0 before spending the coin on a cam for the 4.8. You'll need a rash of stuff to do the swap and by the time you're done, you just spent half of what a 6.0 pullout costs.

I have JUST, last week installed the Texas Speed 212/218 " Low Lift " in my 4.8
Great cam. Have a fuel system upgrade in progress, and also waiting on the jig to drill and pin crankshaft, so I have not started it yet. The 212/218 runs REAL strong in wife's 5.3L Tahoe. VERY good passing power.

It'll be just fine with boost.

I know some will says you need to spec the cam for boost but in the end it will still make great power and more power over the stock cam.

Update :
Texas Speed 212/218 'Low Lift" is working very nicely under 6.5 PSI manifold pressure, so... YEAH, good cam for 4.8 Liter with boost
