Default should I be worried about burning valves?

I just installed my pacesetters and the ORY, but i havent bolted up the 3rd peice of the Y pipe to the stock piping yet. Could I be at risk of burning my valves, or is this sufficient pipe for a short period of time (a week max).

btw, I'm running no cats if that makes a difference

How do you like the headers? They are next on my list but I think instead of the ory I am going to have custom exhaust built from the headers back. Can you tell a big difference off the line?

Not sure on the car/trucks but on the bikes like 5+ inches of pipe is enough to be safe for a while. I believe it is warpage due to the heat difference that is the issue.

Not at all, u will be fine. You need alot less pipe then that to burn valves, I mean alot.

K good, cause it sounds like a f*cking beast how it is right now. I still need to connect it to the rest of my exhaust system.

For lenth reference, the end of the pipe right now ends up right at the back of my front door.

Drive around for four hours, stop 'n go, with your exhaust like that and you'll be begging for stock exhaust again! I opened up my exhaust with STOCK headers and cats still on at the Y flange, and did exactly this. Fun for a couple hours, but my *** started going numb....I don't know how those Le Mans 24 hours guys do it...
