Go for it... like I said for the price they are good. As far as the Long Tubes go, with the new truck chassis the LT's fit even lowered truck applications.

$100 is a steal dude. And if you decide you don't like them, then I will buy them off you.

hey oxidizr

i have a '99 5.3 and i ran a 16.01 with hpp and a airaide and a flowmaster. well i ran the truck with the edlebrocks and i ran a 15.3. as soon as i put in the thermostat i ran a 15.7, but that was because i was spinning so bad. i don't have the slips in front of me but that is exactly what i ran. before the headers i was running a constant 16 flat. now with the pulley, K&N fipk, headers, 160 thermostat, wires, exhaust, mass air, hppp and a hotchkis 2/4 drop i am running a 15.0.

you know what i'm probably the only person running edlebrocks on this web site. perhaps if anyone else has them please let me know how much of a difference they helped out. thanks yall...

now don't get me wrong, i would love to have the arizona speed marine headers over mine any day. i want the long tubes bad. i'm just not sure how much i'll gain if i go to the long tubes.

Randy, you said you have shorties. Is that with or w/o a Y- pipe? Edelbrock has midlength that almost look like shorties with a Y-pipe. Are they T.E.S or NON T.E.S. ? BTW, I have run up to 5 tenths better on different runs in the same night.

well i do have the y-pipe and i believe with TES. i didn't know that edlebrock had midlengths because when i called summit they told me that edlebrock only has shorties. well if i do have midlength how much of a gain do you think i would see with the long tubes?

The time and effort to install them will be a waste in comparison to the gains(if any.)

Hello
New Here, I got the Edelbrock TES headers and didn't gain anything on the track. Just a better sound out the back. Who is running quicker than 13.55 in their trucks. email me and let me know how?
