my 2nd gear pulls to about 95mph (3.42s + 31.5" tires) and it pulls really good in 2nd. But once it hits 3rd it's like I hit a brick wall or something. It gets too 100 but it seems like it really shouldn't be that hard. My speedo is running about 5mph slow since I never reprogrammed for the taller tires. Also, I'm not even sure if the needle on the 99-02 cluster goes past 100?

 

Do you have a stock 6.0 tune?, im assuming you have the governor shut off??

That does not sound right, so it feels like its not pulling anymore? do you have tuning software or did someone do it for you?

 

should be unlocked shouldn't it?

 

with my 4.10s i would blow past 100 alot easier now with the 3.42s it hits 3rd and slows down a bit but if i stay in it it will keep going to 140+.. heres mine shifting into 3rd

 

yeah its got the wheatley 93 tune. 2nd gear pulls hard and then 3rd just sucks I don't know if it's because of my gearing?

 

sounds like a speed limiter to me.

 

Does the needle go past 100 or did you let off?
