I am going to be doing this in the near future, but with AS&M long tubes. I would like to know if I will be able to feel a difference too.

I just put in my AS&M headers on my 03. It was a real pain, mainly because I had crappy tools.

This whole projecy prompted, or really forced me to go buy a 151 piece craftsman tool set. Sears had them on sale for $100! I also got a nice Craftsman tap and die set to clean the old header screws and head holes.

Tomorrow Im going to the muffler shop to have everything welded up. The cats are really off from mounting up to the headers so something is going to have to be cut/welded for sure. No big deal though. My major recommendation for installing these headers is have the right tools.

I didnt need to trim any heat shield bolt, screw, etc. like instructions say. A good jig saw would be great. Expect the header down pipe bolts to be SERIOUSLY tight. Cutting the pipe may become inevitable. A hacksaw and dremel can be used if a jig saw is unavailable.

The headers are beautiful though! GO to the links below to check out the pics of my headers before I installed em.

The TOG's look VERY nice too! I just wanted to go with a long tube header, supposedly they make more power.

what about the flp's,will they make more power, i'd be going back to single in dual out muffler or single in single out muffler instead of a true dual setup. what do ya'll think?
