many people like/have the doetsch tech shocks including myself. they are pretty cheap and ride good with the hotchkis kit.

I have the edlebrcok IAS shocks and I love em. Personally I think they are worth the extra cash over the Doetsch techs, not that there is anything wrong with the Doetschs. I actually bought them first but decided to go with the edelbrocks since they were only a bit more.

The edelbrock design is awesome and you should check out the edelbrock website to see what im talkin about. The shocks features really work and are not just gimmicks.

I have the hotchkis 2/4 inch drop also and the edelbrocks perform beautifully with this setup! I would recommend getting the hotchkis sway bar kit though, something next on my list. With my current setup my truck drives/corners like a sports car and thats with crappy factory tires. I can lane change at 80+ mph and the truck stays stable/flat! I LOVE IT!

THE EDELBROCK IAS's ARE THE BEST. I TRIED "DROP" SHOCKS, BUT THEY WERE WORSE THAN THE FACTORY SHOCKS!! THE IAS's ARE A BIT FIRM BUT HANDLING IS INCREDIBLE AND NOSE DIVING IS ALMOST NONEXISTENT!! THANKS VIC!!

When I called hotchkis to ask what they recomended for me they said the edelbrock IAS are the way to go. At the time Bilstine had some proto types that may be out now. Hotchkis normaly says Bilstine so call them up and see if they have anything for us now. It was about 4 months ago that I checked into it. Ive seen nothing but good stuff from the IAS.

When I talked to Hotchkis about my setup with their springs and Edelbrock IAS shocks they said that that was their recommended setup.

I figure since Hotchkis recommends the shocks with their springs that thats got to be a good thing.
