I am thinking it is still some torque management as well. It sounds like the throttle blade is closing during the shifts. Have someone ride with you whle you have the Predetor hooked up and watch the TPS%. It should stay at 99.6 or 100 while your foot is on the floor.

I am having the same problem and have yet to figure it out. It's not pulling timing though. It simply slams the rev limiter. I upped the line pressure and it seemed to help a little but still didn't solve it. I tried lowering my shift point to 6k with the limiter set at 6800 and still hits.

I'm gonna go through my file and see what I could have possibly missed. Never had this problem on my T/A except when I had a ported MAF.

I am thinking yours and his might be different sincehe has the electronic TB and you probably don't. I would still put my money on his being that ETC (electronic throttle control) rev limiter.

Might be but it feels the same. I talked to Scott last night and he described it as almost the same. Either way I went into Edit and changed the ETC and it was set fine for my 2nd to 3rd gear shift which is where most of my problems stem from. It was set at 6700rpm and my shift point is currently at 6000rpm and 50% of the time if I nail it from a low rpm it will hit the limiter. If i nail it on the freeway (downshift to 2nd only) it goes into 3rd fine. It seems like anytime I start off in 1st gear and run it up is when it doesn't want to shift into 3rd correctly.

There's also a rev limiter on the idle page. Make sure none of your rev limiters are anything less then 200 rpm away from your shift points.

I went through ALL the tables I could find rev limits fro and all are set at a min. of 6700rpm so that's why i tried the line pressure thing. I am gonna keep trying stuff till I figure out what it is.

I have a strange one for ya ... anytime I hammer the throttle the blade opens, like it shouhd, but then it slams shut and WOT again, all within ~.2 seconds as shown on the scan tool. It's enough pressure to move you in your seat when it falls down.

WOW... Is that how the electronic throttle work?

That would suck for a turbo driven truck, you'd lose all kinds of boost.
