www.deviltransmission.com

or this one
This transmission has automatic shifts and a heavy duty / performance lock-up torque converter (#L80-LU). Starting with one of the strongest transmissions on the planet we add a Transgo stage two shift kit, Red Eagle clutches, RedEagle PowerPacks for the forward, intermediate and direct clutchs, Kolene steels and a Kevlar band, the 16 element intermediate sprag is replaced with a 34 element sprag. Every Bionic 80 transmission is tested in our test truck. No trade-in needed on this one for $2695.00. Add $150.00 for LS1 type bell housing bolt pattern. Add $554.00 for lock-up torque converter rated at 1,000 horse power (#88). Can be ordered with a deep cast aluminum pan for an extra $212.00. Order the hardened input shaft if you have nitrous ($324.00). This transmission will take the place of a 4L60E transmission with the use of #10X below (LS1 type computer only). For years now people have been looking for a way to replace the weaker 4L60E transmission with the stronger 4L80E transmission, well the time has come.

It comes with a speed sensor for an electronic speedometer and can be equipped with a speedometer control unit to control a speedometer cable (#68 below). An electronic control module is available for putting an electronically controlled model transmission into a street rod, truck, RV or any non-overdrive vehicle (#58 below). We now have a tail housing available for a gear driven speedometer cable, see below. The freight will run $125.00 to $175.00 in most cases.

performance transmission center.

I have delt with Dr. Evil in the past. They are nice units, and seem to be built well. I will look up my contacts number for Dr. Evil and PM you the number if you would like. This is the trans company I will be going with if this 60 takes a poop.

man blown that would be bad ***. thanks. i have been leaning towards them for a while now. 2265.00 for a mild build and 2895.00 for a real good build including the converter with a 2500. now that is a good price.

ok cool thanks ls1cherm. check this out. i was painting the rear calipers this weekend. i looked at my leaf springs. ok check this. they go down in the middle right. then mine seem to bend up and then down again. i have pulled some very heavy trailers before all the performance stuff. now i figure since it is lowered 2 " in the back i lose about 2 to 4 degree's pinion angle. if they are bent then that is a few more. so i figure when i launch and it and i start out loosing i might be putting to much in it. i was told that i am putting it in a bind and that is hwta keeps eating the tranny output shafts. does this make sense to you. if this is true anbd they are bent and weak then i am binding them. and that might explain why i get a shimmy in it while accelerating.

That sounds very logical! Have you thought about getting some traction bars while you're at it ?

If you have a welder/fabricator as a friend, How about a Weld in 4-link and be done with the leafs springs for good.
