Default Service Traction Control..........

Need some help- one morning I startup the truck, a 2011 Silverado 6.2L and get lights in the dash for ABS and Traction Control. Then in the info center it says that TC and Stabilitrak are diabled and to service them soon. I reflashed to original tune- no help. I disconnected the battery overnight- no help. I looked at all the fuses, everything OK. Anyone else had this problem B4? SOmething I can tap with a mallet maybe.................

Wheel sensor? I had an 04 do that and it was a bad front wheel sensor. stock gears? gear changes will throw all sorts of lights and dinging.

Check sensor connections if the message appears right after you turn on the truck.

The 2011 5.3 I had was doing the same and it ended up being a steering wheel position sensor and a wiring harness under the dash.

Take it in and get the code pulled don't start changing parts ***** nilly you'll cost yourself a fortune and still not fix your problem.

Thanks guys- I've got a buddy with a scanner, gonna try and get ahold of that and go from there. To be honest with ya, the brakes haven't felt this good since I bought the truck...................
