service engine soon
#1
ok, so i'm checkin out my airaid and how i might be able to cook up a bootleg ram air system. needing a better idea of what i was up against, i took out the whole airaid intake from the MAF. sun starts goin down, and i put everything back to the way it was. i take a drive around the corner to get some of that vanilla coke, good stuff by the way! get back in my truck, start it up, and what do i see...the service engine soon light. i look under the hood at all i messed with and find that i forgot to plug in the wire to the MAF. i plug it back in and the SES light still won't go off...anybody got a cure for this?

Reset the pcm. Turn key to run, pull ECM I and ECM B, wait 5 minutes, turn key off and put fuses back in. If that doesn't work, get someone with auto tap to turn it off.

Reset the computer.
Turn key to "on" without starting
Pull ECM I and ECM B fuses in fuse box under hood
Leave key in the "on" position with fuses removed for 5 minutes.
Turn key off and replace fuses
The truck will idle rough at first. It might even die. Its normal. Just turn it off and try to start again. It should run normal and all codes will be reset.
