there are a few people that make them. flowtech is what i think most people use. i think they go for around 30+ a piece. all you have to do is go to a muffler shop and have them welded up, or any where that will do the welding for you.

Yeah, there are ones that with the flip of a switch open automatically.....

I know Borla makes one for about $180......and another company (I'll try and find the link), makes them for about 135.......

Check with our Sponsor QTP

I have one and it works flawlessly...I use to own another brand which I must say was very disapointing.

Yep, thats the link right there...

Didn't know they were a sponsor. I had finally encouraged my friend to get one from QTP...flawless eh Richard?

Definitely easier than manually takin the cap off every damn minute....

I have a set waiting to go on my truck as soon as I get off the road - beats the devil out of having a passenger lean down and remove them while your moving.

Is this mod any good if you still have your Cats in place??? This would seem to still choke up the exhaust.

are the remote cut-outs legal. do they pass emissions if they are put onto our trucks. and does any exhaust gas escape when they are shut, by the pictures they dont seem to have a real tight sill when they are closed.

They are legal as long as closed, the only thing your muffler does is reduce noise, has nothing to do with "emissions" as long as the cats are in l=place - cutoutswith or without remotes are not a problem as long as you don't get caught by smokiewith them open.
