Default Service engine light?

How do we reset or clear the service engine light. The light came on due to catalytic converter wires touching hot exhaust pipe. Also getting code of misfires, anyone ever seen this?
Thanks for any help!

I've heard that if the condition that set the SES light goes away, the light will reset itself after so many starts. The misfire code has something to do with the plug wires I believe but no sure.

Go by Autozone get them put their scanner on to pull the code and clear it for free.Or I can send my scanner to the track with Jim.

justlike whitt1 said take it to autozone and they will clear it for free and the other misfire could be due to dirty injectors
