serious fuel problem!!! please advise.

Default serious fuel problem!!! please advise.

my truck had a walbro fuel pump and LT headers, i took off the headers and put stock manifolds and cats back on and the truck started popping and dying when i idled for about 4 mins and i would give it gas and it wouldnt do anything but die. so i bought a new stock fuel pump off ebay and drove it and when i got to exactly 3000 rpms it bogged down and wouldnt go unless i stayed below 3000 rpms then it drove fine. so then i put a new fuel preassure regualtor on and it still does it at 3000? i also put 2 new o2 sensors in it last week. so now i have a new problem where it wont go above 3000 rpm ever since i put a new pump in it?? please give me some ideas because im about to push it off a cliff

have you put a gauge on it to check pressure?

no i dont have a gauge but when we logged it both fuel trims were maxed out and when i floored it the check engine light came on for lean o2s and it went into limp mode.

a bad mass air sensor could do that also. need to monitor more data. need more info. stopped up exhaust also. loosen the y-pipe at the manifolds and see if anything changes.

i was wondering about the cats being clogged cuz thats when all this started was when i put them on.... but that couldn't make both banks read maxed out since their past the o2s, could it?

Have you tried seafoaming it? have you checked the fuel line for damage? I wonder when you threw the driveshaft, if it hit the fuel line and pinched it...

Check your o2's that's exactly what my conversion did when I started out with bad o2's...

no one else has had this fuel cutoff around 3000rpms before?
