Plus more head studs, provisions for 60mm roller cam bearings, better oiling, and alot of other fun stuff.
I've heard the numbers 2000hp uttered in the same sentence as this block too.

Probably not at that bore size though.

Oh my...I was just going to start looking into putting a new bullet in the Sierra. Might have to wait until March now.

What because GMPP copied the Warhawk? Not that the things added wouldnt be something that everyone wanting to push these blocks to the limit wouldnt want to do.

I did not see anyone bitching when GM's small block was copied......verbatim.

I applaud GMPP for what they are doing, keeps us loaded with more options as we move along. Like you said, this block is just a step UP from the WarHawk.

4.25 bore + 4.00 stroke = 454 cubic inches = good enough for me. It's nice to dream. I wonder how long it will be before GMPP offers big cube LSx crate engines or preassembled short blocks like they do for the SBC and BBC. Hint Hint, Nudge Nudge.

Seriously folks. World goes out and adds two more cylinder head fastener holes per bore. And now they are mad that GM improved their own block likewise.

Ah, let them fight or whatever. Unless the Warhawk prices drop drastically, it's WAY outta mine and a LOT of other peoples league so I really don't care. I just think it's cool that GM has given all us LS freaks a RELATIVELY(probably) inexspensive big bore block to mess with.
