I got the tool from Speedinc, and they also sell the spark plug fitting for compressed air. Check the for sale section both here and on LS1tech, sometimes guys buy the tools only to do one cam swap and put them up for sale.

Thanks for the info Preston129. I searched a bit and found a bunch of sold ones.

Anybody know of a set (spring compressor/air hose) that I can rent/borrow...I will pay shipping and a deposit if needed. I will only change this cam once...so if I can rent or borrow one...it would save me some more money for other go fast parts for my truck. Being in the Air Force and stationed on an Island in the middle of the ocean...parts and tools are few and far between.

Anybody got the valve spring compressor and air hose adapter to change the springs? I can definitely rent if required. I would only need them for less then a week and I would surely return them.

Ok Guys I bought an LS6 Cam and springs from an 04 CTS-V. I would like to know if I will need a TBTC? I have 29.5" tall tires and plan on in the future going with 4.11 Gears. I would also like to know if I need to change Push rods to the longer ones? I also emailed HP Tuners to see which tuner I needed...I haven't got a response back yet. Do I buy the VCM Suite ($499)? I want to tune my Sierra (many mods) and my 03
Denali (stock)

Any help would be appreciated.

A long update. I was moments away from stabbing the LS6 cam into my block...when I decided to take a break and check my PM's. The Bigger cam guy replied back...So my LS6 cam install was cancelled. My poor truck is sitting all in pieces waiting for it's heart transplant. I put the LS6 cam up for sale, but I guess I need to chalk up the LS6 cam as a loss. I guess no one is in the market for it.

I will feel better once my 212/218 is idling in my truck.
