Default seat belt

can you disarm the "put your seat belt on" light and beep? Also, how do I get rid of the speed limiter where my engine won't let the car go faster than 98 mph? Thanks!

i dont think you can disable it... you could probaly trick it with a resistor on the sensor... you would haft to the find the right resistor though...

I asked the same thing a couple months ago, your not alone. Putting on my seatbelt is automatic for me, and I hated the dinging. I always start my truck first, then put it on.
All you have to do is unplug the sensor under your seat.

What does that have to do with his post? Keep your near-sided comments to yourself

I dont know if its the same since I dont have the seatbelt light, but im my ambulance (ford) if you click the release button on the seatbelt piece, it clears the light. Who knows if it works the same....
