I've just read on this site that they weren't any good. Did you notice a power difference on the 1998? I plan on putting an underdrive pulley with it. I'm planning on getting the Parma

thats a low truck!! i think perma cool will be fine. just as long as they cut on when you want thats all you have to worry about. dont go oober cheap or anything and it should be good quality

low?? it's only a 2/4 drop on 20's with a 45 series tires. yeah the cheap part isn't happenin because they cost around $450 on summit plus the pulley which is $65. since the perma cool fans will come on at 170 i'm not sure if i should run a 160 degree thermostat? i think i can but i'm not sure.

i was talkin bout the pic posted... sorry man. i think that setup should help out and work really well for ya! the 160 stat will be good but i think you have to tune it for it to work. im not sure on your body style though

my bad dude, i don't pay attention to well but thanks i appreciate your help. now i just have to measure the size of my radiator because perma-cool makes 3 different types for each size radiator for that body style so i'm doing that and i don't think i'll be able to use the 160 thermostat mainly because the fans lowest temp can be set to 170 and i would think the fan would need to run before the thermostat would open because it just seems to be safer.
