Default Search before you POST please.

Prolly not my place to do this but, please do a search on some of your topics, chances are someone has that problem or knows about a LS6 cam swap, or Efans. I think that is part of the reason why not many topics get good responses, cause everyone has to type the same thing every day. Do yourself and us a favor and just SEARCH. Sticky this maybe???

I think one of the main reason this is happening is because of all the duplicated post on a particular topic. If you do a search on a topic you have to read through a bunch of threads just to find useful information. Some people probably get tired of reading through all the search results and find it faster and easier just to post the question again. Just my $.02.

Maybe the elementary stuff needs to be posted (sticky) in a specific section where only mods are able to post and users can just browse and search. Also, as I've learned being an IT Manager, some people just aren't real good with computers and can barely get around on these sites, maybe a help section on how to perform effect searches would be helpful to some people. Just a few suggestions.

Sometimes with the search doesn't yield very good results. Or the person is just asking a specific question and everyone interprets it to be the same thing. Its like asking the current draw on efans and then getting replies of to just use a nelson harness and ls1 fans. It doesn't really answer the question. And we don't really know how many people DO use the search button. I'm sure it could be even worse.
