Seafoam in the oil

I know some people will disagree and say it does nothing but I do it all the time with good results.
It's popular among backyard mechanics and where I live.
At my old job for an example we had a silveardo with a 5.3 that was completely sludged up from lack of care. Changed the oil and half of it was transmission fluid and ran it for 20-30min. It cut down tons of the sludge and it came pouring out in black chuncks when we changed it again.

The detergents in the trans fluid will clean the engine from the inside.
It does work as stated. Replace 1 Quart of oil with 1 quart of trans fluid. Just don't beat the motor too hard as it is dislodging some of the build up which can block small passages like pushrods and lifter bleed holes.
You can also use Marvel Mystery Oil.
I was over the Sea foam after it doubled in Price. It's in the $10-$11 range at most Auto parts stores but it's just over $6 at Walmart. I prefer to use their engine tech house brand oil and transmission fluid when flushing motor's.
