well this guy puts better heads and cam on his and is 30 under you 2... seems REAL crazy... any track numbers, id really like to know what a LS6 cam in a 5.3 would run in an otherwise stock ecsb 4x4 would run... cause id swap to a ls6 cam in a heartbeat if itd get my truck in the mid 14s with just cam and custom tune(have cold air kit & magnaflow exhaust installed, electric fans on the shelf)

RWHP numbers for this truck can be improved with the addition of electric fans. Also, everyone needs to realize these are a "Stage 1" head, with stock LS1 sized valves and light porting. They are not milled for compression and as such, will rob some torque; and horsepower, as most know, is a mathematical calcuation derived from tq. Also, compression comes out to about 9.5:1 on this setup (same as stock). With a milled .030" head, it would bump it to around 10.5:1 and would produce also better numbers. This is something I may look at in the future, but since I daily drive this truck and use it as truck hauling quads, and a car hauler regularly. I did not want to run the risk of detenation. Therefore, the 86 octane friendly 9.5:1 CR was opted for.
As soon as I get around to installing E-Fans, I will put the truck back on the SAME dyno and see what results we get.
