Well since my 6.0 turned out to be busted, the guy called me and told me hes got a 62K mile 5.3 out of an 06 envoy, well i got it, and its clean, real clean, all aluminum with 799 heads, make it a ls1 and drop it in my truck is the plan

 

well, what we waiting for???? bore, stroke, cam, heads??? we need details damnit Chris!

 

im happy with it, the busted 6.0 had me discouraged, but the man said he didnt do business like that, so he made up for it, is this engine a direct replacemnet for my 5.3? also, not going to believe this, but he gave me a 4l80e also....., all this cost me 300, a busted 6.0, a 5.3, and a 4l80

yes, pretty much a 5.3 with headers and tune, stock cam and converter, 14.20s, ran last night in the 14.5s
