great deal man, I am doing the same thing with mine. torn between dropping a stroker crank in it or just doing a 370ci. 408 would be more eye popping, and the tq would be nice.

I dont know about the connecting rods, mine float and IIRC my motor is an 01 or 02 LQ4

good score tho, I picked mine up with 2 blown head gaskets for 400 and ended up trading blocks with AJ. Still a steal

well thats the only way i can think of to tell cause i know when my father and me put together a 302 inch chevy motor it had full float rods thats how they worked if i remember correctly

man, i learned that from dad with all the old cars we use to put together, all my mopars etc., they are never finished, oh well

I got a 07 l76 with a bent rod for 350, sold the l92's off of it for 750 as far as what i have out of pocket in it. 100 bucks
