I'm still debating on this cam vs. the 212 218 low lift. what size tires are you running?

HT1 cam, SDPC cnc 5.3 heads, 1.8 H&S rockers, LT headers with Ypipe, 4.56 gears with 35inch tall tires, I'm now running a Hughes 22-20EL stall on a freshly built tranny. I just did 800 miles this weekend and at 80MPH at 2400 to 2500 rpm I was knocking down 15mpg but was right at the start of the power for this set up. I'm going today to get the tune tweaked with the new trans & stall..

Ours will make slighty more power/torque vs. the low lift, and has a more aggressive idle. Being on a 111 LSA, we do recommend at least 3.73 gears to get you into the power band more quickly.

Yes, *sigh*. I'm an idiot. It's still in the box from Cam Motion. I hope it makes some power. I have a set of 799 heads I'm having cut .030 for some additional compression. I'm ordering a 4k Yank in a few weeks and a tru-cool and I'll be ready.

Ever get your tune tweaked? What RPM's do your power/torque start?

I called SDPC and they spec'd me for the 212/218, but I want the lsa of the 214/218 for the lope. Think they can custom grind me a lower lsa?
