Default Saw Fast 4.8

hello gentlemen, it is i F150-Killer; had to change to name cause i got a new truck this week.
2002 GMC Z71 ext cab....boy do i love it!!
anyway:

hey, i saw fast 4.8's truck last night at kroger about 10:30pm or so.

I must say dude, your truck looks sweet as hell.

i was going to go over and talk to you, but all my buddies wanted to take off already so I didnt get a chance. Maybe next time.

BTW, as far as the audio setup in your truck, what exactly to you have? i just bought a 2002 Z71 ext cab and i wanted to put some 10s under the seat like you did, but i'm not sure what to go with...someone told me to get a box that is turned down or something like that....
also, some guy tried selling me some boston acoustic speakers for like over $600...cost to replace all stock speakers? are these speakers that good and if they are do i need an amp to push them? the only thing i have right now is a 150 watt rockford fosgate 2-way amp...
any suggestions???

Yea I got bored here at the house and decided to cruise out there. I didn't see anyone I reconized(especialy a new Z71 ). Right after I got there, it looked like I scared off all the rice. I sat for a minute and then everyone started to leave, so I left too. I did see that Yellow truck. I drove over to Pearland to see if anything was at Lowes, and nothing but crickets. It must have been the full moon.

As far as the stereo goes, the Bostons come in three different levels of quality. I can't really say much about the offer you got w/o knowing the specifics. If they are door speakers, you can run them w/o an amp, but they would sound better with one. The guy that told you to get a down firing box, was correct. Mine does not sound as good as it should. BTW, I may be selling my bass system. I trying to lighten the load for the track. I want something I can take in and out easier. Maybe I'll catch you next time. Thank for the compliment on the truck.

I have Boston Acustic Pro Series componants in my truck and I love them. I do have a PPI 300 watt amp running to them. You can turn them up as loud as your ears can take and they are still crystal clear. I think I paid a little over 550 for them, so you should be able to get some new ones for that price.
