Yo mike nice pics... How do you like yours?

Do you think it would be an advantage to get a open type of intake like a K&N or AEM? Is that plexi glass cover tight over the box?

The open element filters tend to suck more hot air from your engine bay. The enclosed boxes are a little better for actually keeping the air cool through your intake. The plexy glass cover is pretty tight but its not air tight. It just keeps some of the dirt and warm air away from the filter.

Yea im undecided but i might take you up on that offer NeverSatisfied....is the filter still pretty new?
