Default running duals, where to install cutouts

my brother has a rcsb gmc, and has his cutouts a foot before the mufflers. Has anyone tried to mount them after the headers he has Lt,s

The quicker you can get the air out, the better flow, so therefor, better power.

I believe v8 has them right after the headers..

Right before the mufflers. Unless this is a race only truck you will want to run some piping before you dump it. Running with more piping will prevent and low end loss and will all the top end gain.

FYI my e-cutouts are going right after the headers... I personally, wouldn't do it any other way unless I had a smalle motor and an ORY, then I'd go right at the end of the Y-pipe.

with the longtubes it looks like its going to be hard to find a spot for them
