Is it spinning over fast, like there is no compression or at normal speed?

maybe your pushrods are too long and the 1.8's made it worse so now your valves are open and it wont start. i think sport side once went form 7.4's to 7.5's and his truck wouldnt start either

When I first did my 1.8's I tightened them too much and the valves hung open, wouldn't build compression. What kind did you install?

yes, it wouldn't hold compression, starts up for sec or two and goes off. i have arp 7.4 pushrods.
how can fix it? do i have to loose the bolt little bit?
