Default rocker arms

if you get taller then stock rocker arms is there any special way to adjust them or is it just like stock? like the old 350s?

the stock valvetrain in all LS1/LS2/LS6 type engines is non adjustable, you just torque down the rocker arm bolts to around 20 ft lbs. If nothing else is changed the stock style non adjustable is fine. But alot of people have problems with after market cams and higher ratio rocker arms on these engines. If your looking for more lift the general consensus is to just get a new cam.

well could you just put a taller style on the stock studs and torque them down?

the stock rockers should do you just fine...noticed your from dumas..gotta buddy his gf used to live there and he used to go over there alot and do some racin..it was 2000 chevy ext with a cam and sprayed 4.8 its blue and the lower part was silver had chrome kmc wheels..his name is poncho..said hes raced a supercharged truck from dumas

he said they were pretty much side by side he said it was rcsb 5.3 witha superharger and had a 4.8 ext cab with nitrous
