Return style fuel system on 07-up truck??
#1
Anyone ever done a return style fuel system on an 07-up style truck intake? I know the 99-03 rails wont bolt up to the intake because of the crossover, but I was wondering if anyone had seen it done with billet rails? What regulator was used? Just thinking about going with an external pump and not messing around with an in tank unit and factory fpr. Thanks in advance guys!

When you go to aftermarket rails you can do whatever you want. The only difference in return and returnless is in a returnless the regulator is in the tank, return it is outside the tank.
I used a gtm900 L92 intake with billet rails and aeromotive regulator...
I would suggest keeping the pumps in the tank if possible. If that means replacing the factory stuff so be it.

You could keep it returnless by adapting to the stock fuel line and simply blocking off one end of the fuel rail. However, this greatly limits the power potential because all the fuel must first flow through the stock regulator in the tank. Secondly, if you run boost, you will not have a boost reference to increase regulator pressure, so your actual fuel pressure will be the base pressure minus the amount of boost you run, which great reduces your injector flow rate.
