Default resonator tips/dynomax bullets.....do they work?

ive already searched, but i couldnt find much help.

i just got my hooker aerochamber installed. its dual 2.5 inch in, and single 3 inch out. i have !cats! and the exhaust exits straight out the back on the passenger side through a dual outlet tip.

i love the sound of the hooker aerochamber, but at 1600 rpms, the droan/resoanace, is horrible. basically when iam driving at either 25 mph or 50-55 mph its pretty bad. other than that, its excellent.

my question is, if i were to get a resonator tip ( those tips with the glass pack in them) would those help at all?

what about the dynomax bullets? do those help with the droan. i have heard some say it helps with rasp, but iam not concerned with the rasp, only the in cab droan.

any suggestions, i would appreciate it.

thanks alot in advance guys.

maybe you can try running the exaust all the way to the back. this should quiet down the drone

it already is running all the way out the back.....i think its my damn 3 inch dual outlet tip that is vibrating the entire plumbing causing the droan. i may end up getting a resonator tip and seeing if that helps.

wheres the best place to put a dynomax bullet at?? in front of the muffler, or after the muffler?

put a bullet a couple feet behind the muffler and that should fix it.
