Yeah, i'm going to cut off the tips first and see what happens. They are down angled behind the rear tires so with them off the pipes will just be hidden. If that doesn't work i'm going to work with Curtd to experiment. If I can get the resonance knocked down then it's time for 4.88's and raisin hell. These heads and intake I have love to turn up and it's killing me waiting to get through the low rpms to the good stuff. But with my 6 speed and 4.88's i'll still be just 2100 rpm @ 80mph. And my slicks are 28" so at the track I will be doing some serious gear banging

Install two small-diameter round Magnaflows as close to the tailpipe exit as possible. It has been my observation that the shorter the pipes are after the exit of the last muffler in the system, the less the resonance. I used 4" rounds 3" in-out for mine. They work. You can see them in this photo, main mufflers visible unde passenger side:

Edit: One more thought, dumping after the mufflers you have will make it louder overall but completely change the tone. Probably very little resonance doing that.

I have a similar set up to yours and got rid of most of my drone using 10" long resonator tips that I bought from summit, they are double walled stainless. They are like a glasspack in the way of having a perforated inner tube with steel/glass packing...hope this helps, worked for me,a few of the brands were monza, hooker, and I think magnaflow

I don't have duals, but I do have LTs, ORY, and a Borla xr-1 Sports man muffler. It's loud aggressive, and just loud as **** at WOT.

I put a 24" Dynomax bullet (glasspack) in front of the muffler, and it sounds better at start, and at crusing.
It's not where my GF would like to have it, but I like it way it is.

My solution was to go back to the stock exhaust and give away the Magnaflow. It sounded great, but the drone at freeway speeds was too much. Besides the stock exhaust on my SS is not so bad, I did not see much if any difference.

It is a Stainless Steel Resonator from Allens Stainless Exhaust. Cost me $44 shipped and I guess they can make them in about any size upon request, for additional cost ofcourse.
