Default Replacing Coolant Overflow

I have been doing some snooping on some other boards and have noticed that alot of the GTO guys are getting rid of there stock coolant tanks and using like a 1.5qt CSR can instead, i was looking at my engine bay and it would REALLY Clean up the underhood

What do ya'll think if i ran a T-Fitting in the Return Line for the Heater Core and put a CSR 1.5qt Coolant overflow in the corner of the engine bay behind the headlight or up on the firewall near the A/C

Mark (04Denali) had one, it sat far enough back not to interfere with the turbo at all. If you don't use it, bring it with you, i will take it off your hands.

Do you have the passenger rear corner (Aux Battery area) reserved for something? If not Trick's tank would look good there.

Yeah i was thinking that but the reservoir needs some kind of vent and the trick tank is not setup for coolant usage

... couple of mods and I think it would work. I have been considering a metal coolant reservoir because the stock plastic one starts to turn a nasty yellow over time. If I do a metal tank I will move it back to where the Aux Battery would go. I am going to a water cooled turbo soon so I may change the reservoir at the same time so I only slice and dice hoses once...
