Is it possible to loose mpg by removing the cats. This did not set any codes since they were turned off. I did feel a slight decrease mpg. Any comments or ideas appreciated.

 

I saw a slight increase in mpg when i removed my cats a couple of months ago. I added ASM headers and true duals at the same time though, so that's probably where the increase came from. I've seen a few people on here who have simply removed their cats, so maybe they can chime in with a more helpful answer.

 

I have removed mine and I see a better mpg on the highway where it can really flow but in the city it's about the same so far.

 

HOw heavy is your right foot?!

 

Maybe it's just my imagination. I do have a heavy right foot.
