relocate IAT sensor?

yes he did. that looks similar to the msd-2320 sensor. It can be bought from summit.

The stock one is in the MAF, but it is really slow reacting... I got the one colton mentioned above and cut the wires (brown and black) on my maf and wired it into the new sensor... The sensor is only like $15-20.. Depending on how your tune is setup your probably pulling alot of timing due to IAT temps, those IAT temps with the stock maf are not accurate at all since it heat soaks and reacts really slow....

That's very good to know, looks like a cheap mod that equals more acurate PCM correction and more power, surprised that I haven't heard more about this mod

there was a lot of buzz a year or so ago on this mod but haven't seen much til now. If your MAF is maxed out it isn't going to get you much.

the guys using meth were moving the IAT sensors to the intake and fooling the computer that the air was cooler and enriching and advancing timing but in high hp the maf might already be near the limits..........or so the theory.
