Unless you are going for all out speed the ext.cab is MUCH more useful IMO. It can easily haul adults. I'm 6'3" and have ridden in the back many times and while it's not Lexus comfort it is not uncomfortable by any means. PLus you have more room for stereo stuff and general junk a lot of us seem to haul around. LOL

i have an EC and even if it were just me i would buy another one. No i don't haul a lot of people around but it is nice to be able to put my grocery's in the cab instead of the bed. plus i do have to carry a car seat around and it makes it a lot nicer having my son back there instead of the passenger seat.
either way, it's your choice and i would suggest doing the pro's and cons list.
