I am located near Lake Charles.

The 6.0 swap sounds like a good idea, except I don't have the cash for a 4L80E.

You don't need a 4L80E, they are all the same bolt pattern. Your 4L60E will work just fine.

It's always been my belief that a 6.0 will trash an unbuilt 60E within a few hundred miles.

It's been my belief that if i stare at something long enough it'll burst in flames, but i've yet to see it happen.

Looking at your original list you can throw the Forged internals out the window, you won't need to go forged just to hit 13s.

Everyone else has already basically covered what you need for 13 range. Shift kit, corvette servo, Tune, Lt's, Cam, gears (alot of ppl run 4.10's and drive the highway), locker, and 100shot. If you buy used you should be around 2k.

But if your gonna have the cash on hand you might as well find a buyer for your 5.3 and just get a 6.0, full exhaust, servo, cooler, cam, tune, and gears. Then start saving for an FLT 60e or 80e. As long as you don't drag race every day and your names not Tyler your 60e should hang in there long enough.

A full exhaust, custom tune and gears on your 5.3 is enough to make you antsy in your pantsy.

i DO like to see things blow up, but i think the G80 will be fine with the few mods i have done and considering the only other things i am going to do to the truck are a shift kit and a tune, i think i'll be good.
