Default recomended stall w/ whipple??

what stall would you recomend for my setup? i'm leaning toward a yank 3k but i need other peoples opinion. also, will it slow me down from a rolling start? i get alot of races from a 40-65 roll and don't want to sacrifice any power there.

I'm running a yank TT3000. I like it alot. You wont lose anything from a roll.It will only help.

oh man I can only imagine trying to get out of the hole with a converter and a Whipple
What size pulley/how much boost did you try?

The only thing I have done since the intercooler is increase timing - a lot. I love this intercooler. I will run 10psi on the street still on pump gas hopefully. I just have not ordered a pulley yet for fear of my tranny going really soon.

it was a 4" pulley. sat on 9psi then spiked to 10.5 before the shift. i didn't lower the timing or change the tune at all and it was about 45* outside. all i can say is DAMN!

As for the stall, I'll let you know. I have a PY3400 I'm planning on using with mine.

Glad to hear that. You might want to think about getting an alky injection kit,so you can run all year. I'm using the smc enteprises kit. It's turned off right now since i'm only running 6.5 pounds of boost. I'll be ordering some new pullies here shortly and post the results with the alky injection. I wonder what 10 pounds would do for the 6.0??
