Default Recomend a great flowing mufler

for my 99 Z-71. I want something that flows great without being super loud. I plan to get just the dual tail pipes and fab up my own system. I just cant justify spending alot on the truck, because that would take away from the SS.

I have a PV muffler on my truck and it has a nice deep tone to it, not to loud at all. Go to my webpage, then scroll down to the bottom and hit the videos link. There is a sound clip of me revving through the PV and one through an open cutout.

I really like my Borla. Its a single 3" in and dual 2.5" out. Nice tone and much less interior drone than my original flowmaster had.

Magnaflows are a great choice - will do what you want in almost any combo.

Most people don' know much about these mufflers, but they are very nice and high quality from the ones I have seen. I know several people who use these for various different applications and I doubt they would ever use anything else.
