sounds like the 4.10 is going to be the best ....

I'm in the same situation.. I have 20's and a new cam ready to install. I would like to sit the 4.10 in myself.

The 4.10's will counteract a good deal of that weight difference too that the 22's added. The 305/45R22's are a tad taller than the stock 265/75R16's most trucks have from the factory so the 4.10's will return your final drive ratio on the pavement (after tires factored in) to about stock. At 70mph you're looking to be around 2000-2100rpms depending on transmission slippage/torque converter lockup assuming a 4L60E.

I have a NNBS 08 5.3 Sierra with 3.42 gears, I am getting a level kit, 20's and 33's. I am thinking I need to step up to 4.10's and a TruTrac.

Are there different brands of gears and which brands should I go with? Also, if anybody knwos the Trutrac part number, that would help.

Most brands are pretty much the same, but I have read that Precision Gear, Yukon, and GM gears are the best. Ive used Precision gear and GM with no complaints.

Check out Ringpinion.com and call to place your order. They'll set you up with the ring and pinion set along with all the necessary installation parts to do a proper hypoid gear swap.
