I did loose a little top end, especially my passing gear over 70mph. Does that install kit include a carrier? Seems they have dropped in price some. What brand gear and what model Auburn?

Tell me how to get to Edinburg and I will be there this weekend to get mine put on. I was expected to pay close to 1K for all this. Can anyone get this deal, or is this just your hook-up?
This mod may get done a lot quicker than expected

I was told I wouldn't need a different carrier.

Joseph installed 4.10s in the Silverado & its really hard to hook up with. If you have sticky tires (ET Streets go 4.10) Joseph installed a factory posi & the 4.10s. The gears were GM gears.

i am able to get a used detroit locker for under $200. only probably is i will have to buy new 8.5 gears to go with it. how long do posi's last, and also will it be locked even when going around corners?

I saw this on a TV show. Posi's last from 40k to over 100k sometimes it depends on what brand and how it is used. The detroit lockers don't stay locked around corners because it could break your axles. The detroit lockers are supposedly the loudest of the lockers and they make clicking sounds when unlocking. I hope this is right I saw it on HPTV.
