Hey all you High Performance and Big Power & Torque guys! DaviZ71, a personal friend of mine has "dropped" the "chunk" in his 2000Silverado 4.8 5/speed Z71, accidentally while racing my 2003Sierra 5.3 Z71. Oops! Well we're going back w/ a tougher upgrade, as of now it's the AuburnGear ECTED PosiLoc/Spooler, while we're keeping the perfect Richmond 4.10 gears in it.
Anyone got any diffrent suggestions? That way we can keep this tragedy from happening again. Because the "stock" differential is weak in these trucks. And we all know......"stock sucks"

If you want an on-off electric locker, try the Eaton E-locker. I just have more confidence in their product. It may not even be an issue, becuase these units have been in short supply, so it may end up being a matter of whats in stock.
But, like said already, if you are looking for all out strength, the Detroit C-Locker would be the right choice.
