I got my updated PCM from Allen this morning and I really cant believe how much was left in this truck. After I did the cam I knew that there was somemore to be gained with the updated tune but I already had an aggressive tune so I thought it would be minimal. I was really wrong. I feel more at "SOTP" with this tune that I did when I went from stock. I had dynoed at 252rwhp after tune,intake,and exhaust and since then Ive done gears,cam,springs,pushrods,160 stat,ported TB,and descreened the MAF and I dynoed at 276rwhp without updated tune I just got. So I knew there was a little left but it seems there is alot more than I thought. Ill get it on the dyno this weekend or next and get the final tuned dyno #'s. Those #'s obviously arent with the n20! just thought Id share. Oh yeah I also got a check engine light with the updated tune. After the cam I was getting one on and off but it was off before I put the updated PCM in. Any thoughts? Will it go away in time? Ill hook up the TECH-2 to see!

Ive only put like 6 miles on the new tune but say Im at a stoplight in drive-the rpms are at 1000 and its like Im fighting it. If I let off the gas it will pull kind of hard without hitting the pedal. I dont now if this will go away when the pcm relearns ir what.

 

If it's idling at 1000rpm ... it's not gonna go away.

 

did you idle it up some when you installed the cam.

 

No-Ive had the cam in for 3 weeks now and before this tune it idled damn near like stock with some decent lope. Now there is no lope and its is reving really high 1000 almost all the time in drive and a little below in N and R. Another thing is when I get on it maybe 1/3 throttle it revs very high. The shifts are crazy and its hard to explain. All I know is that it is reving high all the time. What do you guys think the case is. He knew my mods-4.10's,transgo,cam,etc...
Im going to dowload my tune hear in about an hour at my buddies(CRAZYCUTER4.8) and he will also have the TECH-2 so Ill see whats going on! Im tempted to put the old tune back in! Any guesses?
