Default Re-tune for LT headers ???

Hey guys
Haven't been on the site for a long time. But wanted to know if any gains could be had from a re-tune with long tube header with no cats.
Any thoughts ???

Yes.
Infact if you don't tune for them you may acutally loose a little power.

so for me. since i have a w4m right now, if i install headers i need to send it back to him to get the full effects out of it? on the phone it doesnt seem like it was a big deal to him when i asked. he said i only needed to send it back for headwork or nitrous.

you can actaully run lean with headers. so depending on how he set the tune up before is rather or not you will need adjustments. just remember this, when dealing with mail order companys you get what you pay

When I put my headers on I was lean after the install, and I did notice a difference after I altered the tune for the headers.

what kind of gains are we looking at going from shorty headers to long tubes? is it worth the cash, I still have cats and would be changing to offroad y pipe too. Thanks in advance guys!
