Default Rattling O2 sensors?

Anyone else experience this? What the heck can I do about it?

The truck has made this noise almost since I bought it, and we've always inspected the heat sheilds and stuff. Well, I had to get my crossover pipe replaced yesterday (damn 4/6 drop ) and that's when we figured out that the O2 sensors were rattling. I think there is a metal ring around the top of them or something? Any help?

(BTW--got a 2 chamber Flowmaster put on yesterday...me likey! )

We always take some pliers and crimp the ring around the sensor body so it won't rattle anymore.Very common and yes very irratating(sp)

We tried that, and they still rattle. I'm scared to break the ceramic inside the sensor if we squeeze on it anymore.

Is there a such thing as high temp tape? Wonder if that would help?

Oh, and it's the rear sensors. I guess I should just yank the cats off, eh?

How about a well placed squirt of high temp silicone?
