Default Ram-Air pics!

Here's a few pics of the ram-air set up I have, I plan on hooking it up to the Volant intake when it arrives. You see the moisture in the bottom of the airbox, it's not much and that was after driving in some pretty hard rain on the freeway, the filter was dry.

Thanks for the pics. I am going to try and set up something like that when I get my Volant.

I had that same set-up when my stock air box was installed, but a big gulp of water changed my mind about the ram air set up. Maybe I could try it again though.

Yeah, I need to do something to get more air up to the supercharger...

Has anyone done a hood with Ram Air?

Thanks for the pics - I'll eventually fab up something for the Volant - IMO it has to be great for intake temps especially on a cold day

Agreed!
I think of it as a way to get cool outside air to the engine, I really don't think it's "ramming" the air into the engine. Fresh cool air does an engine good!

thats kinda how i did mine with my volant intake. but since ram air really doesnt help at all i just put the dryer duct opening right behind the bumper. so it just pulls cool air from there.
