Default Ram Air

Has anyone actually seen a decrease in your et's through hooking up a ram air system? Over the past couple of days i have constructed one that delivers air from where my passenger side tow hook was, straight to my filter. Things is, its a cone filter so im not sure its going to do much good.....would it be more benificial just to remove my headlight when im @ the track? I have constructed this system pretty well, so id like to give it a chance. Any thoughts?

It will help, but its always debated how much. I say its better to have it than not.
Cool fresh air does a motor good!
