Default Raising a 2002 2WD

My father has a 2002 ECSB 2WD and would like the front level with the back. He has my stock 17" Avlanche Z71 wheels now with 265/75 tires. What can he do? I was under the assumption that this truck did not have the torsion bar suspension like mine. I think he has coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the back. Is there a cheap alternative that is not going to hurt the truck? Any help is appreciated.

the only cheap way to raise the front is to install lift springs in place of the factory springs. Not sure what brand, but figure $150 or so for a pair of front springs.

Or, some 2" lowering shackles for the rear leafs will level the truck easily and be cheaper to do.

Yeah do what Nine Ball said, a friend of mine had similar problems with his Tundra and got a Fabtech front suspension kit which leveled the truck out nice.
